🖊️ What we wrote
RLC Ventures is one of the only VC funds in the world taking a "double-impact" approach to venture; simultaneously backing companies aiming to have a positive social impact, and making a commitment to making our own direct impact through our unique venture pledge to charities around the world.
Following the hugely succesful exit (by acquisition) of Bettingmetrics in 2020, RLC donated £10,000 to Yuva Unstoppable; a charity, chosen by Bettingmetrics' founder Martin, that works to provide underprivileged children with access to education, sanitation, and drinking water
The funds directed towards a school based in Indore, India attended by 236 students, and were used to make significant upgrades to it's facilities and classrooms; including the installation of smart classrooms (pictured above).
